Reiva Deep Pulse

Effective date: 2026-10-13

This policy explains how this application handles information and how to contact us about privacy.

Information we process

Reiva Deep Pulse is an offline game. The app stores your laboratory configurations, best mission times, replays, settings and suspended game on your device. Optional backup sends only laboratory configurations and best mission times to our server. To enable backup, the server creates a random installation secret. The distributed iPhone app keeps that secret in the iOS Keychain and the server stores its SHA-256 hash, not the secret itself. We do not ask for a name, email address or account registration. Network requests necessarily expose technical connection information, including an IP address, to our hosting infrastructure. We do not use analytics, advertising identifiers, location tracking or advertising SDKs.

How we use information

Device storage lets you resume play and retain your laboratories, progress, replays and preferences. Optional server storage backs up laboratories and best mission times for the installation identified by its secret. The secret authorizes access to that backup. Connection information supports delivering the service, security and rate limiting. Backup is optional and the game remains playable offline.

Service providers and sharing

We do not sell personal information or share game data with advertisers. The optional backup runs on Railway infrastructure, which processes stored backup data and network requests to provide hosting. The hosting infrastructure may record technical logs. No other external integration is used by the app. We may disclose information when legally required.

Data retention

Local game data stays on the device until you delete it using the available app controls or remove the app. iOS may retain a Keychain entry after an app is removed, so removing the app should not be relied on to revoke the backup secret. Server laboratories and best times stay associated with the installation until you delete that backup. Deleting a laboratory removes its server record when the deletion sync completes. Temporary rate-limit counters expire after their one-minute window. Railway infrastructure may retain technical logs according to its own operational policies; we do not specify a fixed retention period for those logs.

Deleting your information

In the app, Delete Remote Backup deletes the installation authorization and its laboratory and progress records from the active server database. The server immediately rejects the old secret afterward. Deletion requires a network connection and is complete only after the app receives a successful response. You can delete individual laboratories and reset your local campaign using the app controls. Resetting campaign progress deletes local campaign results and all attempt recordings while retaining laboratory trials. It queues deletion of the old server backup and its secret. On the next successful connection, a new installation secret is issued and the retained local trials are copied again. A local reset does not erase infrastructure logs. After Delete Remote Backup, a future synchronization can create a new server copy from retained local data. Server deletion cannot erase data already retained in infrastructure logs or provider-managed recovery copies, which remain subject to the provider's retention policies.

Permissions and your choices

The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or notifications. Optional backup uses the network and an installation secret stored in the iOS Keychain. No device permission is needed for ordinary gameplay. You can disable Automatic Backup in Settings to stop backup network activity. Disabling it does not delete existing server data; use Delete Server Backup to request deletion. Deleting the server backup also disables Automatic Backup until you enable it again.

Your privacy rights

You can choose to keep all gameplay offline, stop using backup, view your local laboratories and progress, delete laboratories, reset your local campaign and delete your remote backup through the app. To ask a privacy question or exercise an applicable data-protection right, contact edrick.ainsley@icloud.com. We may need information that verifies your authority over a backup, without requesting your installation secret by email. There is no login or email recovery: if the installation secret is lost, we cannot restore access to its backup. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority.

Security

The distributed iPhone app sends backup requests over HTTPS and keeps the authorization secret in the iOS Keychain. The server stores only the secret's hash, isolates each installation's records, validates requests and uses request-size and rate limits. The server database is stored on a persistent Railway volume. Application request logging excludes authorization headers and game content. Hosting infrastructure can still process technical connection logs. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The game is designed for players aged sixteen and older. We do not knowingly solicit identifying information from children and do not require a name, email address or account registration. The app has no advertising, analytics, chat or public profiles. Optional backup contains laboratory configurations and best mission times as described above. A parent or guardian with a privacy concern may contact edrick.ainsley@icloud.com.

Changes to this policy

This policy is effective October 13, 2026. We will update this page and its effective date if the app's data practices change. Review the policy before enabling optional backup and after significant app updates. Privacy questions can be sent to edrick.ainsley@icloud.com.
